SB Bride :: Kim

Every one of our brides is special and we are so honored to be a part of their weddings.

Once in a while, we are honored to serve a bride who is special beyond the boutique & customer relationship.

Kim is one of those young women to me.  I met her when she was seven years old; she and her older sister, Kelli, began taking piano lessons from me way back in the late 1990's!  As Kim grew into a lovely teenager, she was one of my boys' favorite baby-sitters.  She showed up when I needed extra help in my house, my yard, and even took a few hours at September's Bride when we first opened.  I dearly love Kim, her sister, and their family!

So I was very honored when Kim chose her Angelina Couture wedding gown from our boutique.  The B2 bridesmaid dresses and the guys' tuxes are from September's Bride, too.

Kim and Jon, we wish you the very best in your life together!

New Arrival :: Justin Alexander

I think this would be the perfect gown for a Spring wedding!

A beautiful silk dupioni trumpet gown with a strapless bodice is topped with the most darling jacket.  A wide jewel neckline and elbow-length sleeves make this textured lace jacket into the perfect layer for a cool evening or venue.  It also adds just a bit of coverage for a bride who wants a more modest or elegant look.

The gown also comes with a small hairpiece which matches the flowers on the jacket.

This gown is by Justin Alexander and available in West Michigan only at September's Bride!

SB Bride :: Elisabeth

From the Elisabeth's first appointment at September's Bride, I knew she was going to become a wonderful and enjoyable SB bride!  I was priveleged to help her find her gown, a gorgeous Justin Alexander floor-length ball gown.

Elisabeth also purchased her bridesmaid dresses and shoes from our boutique, as well as getting her tuxes for the guys through September's Bride.  And...she used EVENTS by September's Bride for her wedding coordinating!

Click here to see more details from Elisabeth and Kris' wedding, including her DIY placecards, great bridesmaid shoes, and much more!  Our lead planner, Michelle, dedicated an entire EVENTS by September's Bride blog post to all of the great photos & details.

Totally Fab :: Trash & Treasure!

When I was married in 1992, I took a spill while leaving the reception.  Thankfully, I was holding tightly to my new husband's arm and just scraped my beaded shoes a little bit.  No more damage was done.  I was terrified that I may have somehow gotten my wedding gown dirty, though.

Now, brides in wedding gowns and their photographers make an entire session out of finding the most unique (and downright dirty) locations for "Trash the Dress" and "Rock the Frock" photography sessions.

At September's Bride, we've designed a package just for brides who want to experience the liberating feel of playing in their wedding gown without worrying about the dirty, mud, or mire!  We call our package "Trash & Treasure" and it combines a 1-hour photo session with a complete gown cleaning and preservation, all done right here in West Michigan!
