SB Bride :: Hannah

Hannah & Tyler were married two months ago, in June. Hannah wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown and a custom veil by Jennifer Leigh Bridal.

Hannah was so delightful to work with as a bride! In fact, we enjoyed her and she loved September's Bride so much that she has now come to work with us. This weekend, Hannah will be standing up as a bridesmaid for her brother's bride and another SB bride, Elise.

SB Bride :: Jessica

Aren't they both beautiful?

Here are Marcus & Jessica; they were married last Friday evening in Oak Brook, IL. Jessica has worked at September's Bride since last January and we are so sorry to see her move, but happy to see her married.

Jessica is wearing a customized Casablanca gown, accessorized with hair piece and jewelry from MEG Jewelry. Absolutely gorgeous.

New Arrival :: Justin Alexander

During our visit to Bridal Market last April, Jessica fell in love with this dress. She is actually getting married tomorrow and had already purchased her gown by then. But, I think she may have chosen this one if she had the opportunity!

A fabulous, romantic silhouette which boasts two layers of lace and a high waist, this gown is a dream! It is even more beautiful in person than in the photo.

I would suggest pairing this gown with a long, chapel-length veil for your ceremony; then swap the veil for a romantic hairpiece for the reception. Depending on how you accessorize the gown, it will be just as appropriate for an outdoor, garden wedding as an indoor, formal church ceremony.

MEG Jewelry Trunk Show

Of course, you know how excited we are about our upcoming 2nd Anniversary Celebration! The highlight of each Anniversary Weekend is a MEG Jewelry Trunk Show with Meg Lammers! Meg is the most delightful woman you will ever meet. She and her husband, Rod, will be at September's Bride to show you the very latest and best in bridal jewelry trends. Now is the time to call us at 616-355-1433 to schedule your personal appointment for September 25 or 26!

This year, Meg is debuting something BRAND NEW at the Trunk Show! It is "Build Your Own Bridesmaid Jewelry". Based on Meg's designs, you and your bridesmaids can customize jewelry with different colors, stones, and metals.

We will be having a very special "Girls Night Out with Meg" on Thursday, September 24. We will be featuring tastings from a local caterer, sparkling juices, door prizes, and a fashion show, focusing just on Maids and Moms! Put this on your calendar and stay tuned for further details!

New Arrival :: Pamela by Maggie Sottero

Although strapless gowns are definitely here to stay, bridal gown designers are beginning to listen to women who want some fun and beautiful options for necklines.

Here is a fabulous example from Maggie Sottero. The gown is "Pamela" and it has recently arrived at September's Bride. The ruched waistline and a-line skirt is flattering on almost any figure. Short torsos (and short necks) might be overwhelmed by the halter and ruffle; but this gown draws attention to a bride's face so wonderfully and should be tried on to be fully appreciated!

I would put a short veil or a fun hairpiece with this gown to avoid a tangle of fabrics at the neck. Short, but bold, earrings would look great, too.
