Rachel needs your help!

Gown above is "Alexandra" by Lila Couture; ivory & gold

Gown above is by Charo Peres for Novissima; ivory lace with gold threads

Lovely Rachel, whom you've most likely met if you've been into September's Bride, is asking for the help of our blog readers.

Rachel is getting married on September 12 of this year, on Windmill Island, to Mauricio Ramos. She has a great vision and theme for her wedding - turquoise and gold with a fun, vintage feel. But, she is having a very hard time choosing between two equally fantastic gowns.

I posted photos of both gowns above and Rachel would love to hear your opinions. Please post a comment below and let us know your choice. Keep in mind that Rachel is 5'6" and wears a size 6 (so basically she looks good in everything).

And...as a "thank you" from me for reading the blog and voting, I have two really fun sets of pop-up notecards to give away. One is all-occasion, with pretty flowers on the front, and one is a set of wedding thank-yous. So, there is something for everyone! I have two lucky numbers in mind, and the two commenters who match those numbers will each win!

Time is getting short - Rachel says "HELP!"

September's Bride...a fresh approach to formal.

Okay--it would totally help if she were IN the gowns! But, I do know what Rachel looks like, and I vote for #2. Frankly because I like the non-straplessness of it. And it's very unique, romantic, vintage & I think it will tie into her theme quite well.

Good luck deciding, Rachel!

What a fun way to decide! After being there last weekend and trying on dresses, my vote is for #1!! Congrats :)

Rachel, I know we've talked about this and you have to go with the Lila Couture! It's such a beautiful dress and you would look beautiful in it. I know I fell in love with it when I tried it on and since I couldn't get it, I think you should :) I also think that with the gold wrap on it, it would go wonderful with your gold and turqoise theme.

Since Rachel helped me pick out my wedding dress on leap day a few weeks ago, I'll offer my opinion! Both beautiful, but I like the second one better, it's so different, i love the vintage look, and I bet she would look itty-bitty skinny in it!

I like the first dress better (I'm a sucker for that champagne color) but the second dress has more of a vintage feel.

I don't know Rachel, but those are both beautiful dresses. I like the Lila Couture the best, and I agree about the champagne colored wrap :) I hope you have a wonderful wedding!

#2.
Love the uniqueness and it totally fits with the 'style' she is going for.

We NEED pix with her in the dress!

I've only seen the 2nd dress on Rachel and it looked beautiful! Although both gowns are unique and beautiful, I really liked the 2nd one because it has more of a vintage feel to it and I also think it fits her personality better too...she'll look beautiful in either! Lova ya Rach!

I vote for #2! They are both gorgeous but I love that the second one is so unique! However, I think they would both be great choices!

I vote for #1 although it is hard to choose. I agree we need pics of her in the gowns to make the best decision. Good Luck Rachel!
