The Subtle Fit-and-Flare Gown

After seeing hundreds of women in thousands of wedding gowns, the consultants at September's Bride are pretty good at suggesting the best wedding gown silhouette for almost any body.

Both gowns above are a subtle or "modified" fit-and-flare.  This skirt fits closer through the hips and then flares slightly to the hem and the train.  This shape gives girls with a straighter figure some curves and makes curvy girls look fabulous.

I think this is a shape that every bride should at least try!

Here is important news if you are planning to order a Maggie Sottero gown soon.

Effective January 31, 2011, the Maggie Sottero company will be increasing their prices.  Any gowns ordered before that date will be at the current prices.

So, if you have found YOUR wedding gown from September's Bride, and it is made by Maggie Sottero, call us soon to schedule an appointment to place your order before the price increase!

Made of dupioni silk with a dramatic sweetheart bodice and dropped waist, this is a modern interpretation of a classic wedding gown.
